My name is Jennifer Haile and I am running for Williamson County School Board, District 10.  I am running because I believe that our district deserves progressive, and diverse, perspectives on our school board.

About the Candidate:

Jennifer Haile is a Cum Laude graduate of Spelman College and has earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.  A community advocate, Jennifer is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Metropolitan Nashville Chapter, Inc., National Association of University Women, Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Williamson County Chapter and the Association of Women Attorneys, Marion Griffin Chapter (Nashville). She also served as a Non-Voting board member (Intern) of the Tennessee Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence and is current board member of Moves & Grooves, Inc., (Finance and Budgeting Committee). Further, Jennifer was a cohort the 67th class of the Young Leaders Council (Davidson County).

Jennifer has a profound understanding of student development and teacher needs; she is a third generation educator and has instructed college level classes in American Government and Political Theory at multiple institutions including, her alma mater, The University of Memphis.  

Finally, and most importantly, Jennifer is a proud parent of a high school student in Williamson County public schools.
